About Us

Khadijah Gigliotti

Khadijah is a designer, stylist and relationship coach. She loves interiors and is very passionate about the creative process.

When she was 4 years old her favorite play activities were designer and teacher. She did floor plans for her bedroom over and over again. She still plays, designs and her teaching has evolved into coaching. Khadijah’s background is in psychology, relationships and art.

Working as a teacher and coach most of her life has given her insight into relationships and people.

She loves to support the evolution of individuals and their space as well as the relationship to that space. The most important thing to her is the beauty of what unfolds when people come together with a common goal.

What she brings to her design projects is a robust attention to detail with an upbeat and somewhat irreverent approach. She loves lines and the many ways they merge to create texture, pattern and wow moments. She firmly believes that creativity not wealth is the key to having a happy and amazing home.

Her aspiration is to inspire you to create, to let loose, to grow and enjoy your home in every moment.

Likes - big art, smart colors, vivacious authentic people and little details.

Pia Rappaport-Goldman

When furnishing her own home, founder Pia Rappaport-Goldman wanted pieces that felt friendly, unique, and embodied a global spirit. When she didn’t find what all she was looking for in the market, Pia decided to design her own line of home accessories and, thus, PILLOWPIA was conceived.

Pia spent over a decade with designers Ralph Lauren and Tory Burch in operations, specializing in building and utilizing their brand archives. With a desire to return to creative work, Pia left fashion in late 2015 to officially launch PILLOWPIA.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, she is the daughter of a musician and a fine artist turned jewelry designer. Pia studied Economics & Sociology at the University of Maryland followed by Graphic Design at Parsons School of Design and draws inspiration from her creative background and extensive personal archive.

She currently lives with her husband, daughter, and son in a restored brownstone in the historic section of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
